Since I love chocolate as well as vanilla creme I had to try something in that direction.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices-0.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9278\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices-0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;ve created these amazing <strong>vegan and gluten-free chocolate vanilla slices<\/strong> &#8211; and boy they are delicious! They are so creamy and melt on your tongue &#8211; simply amazing! Somewhere between a raw cake and ice-cream, they make a refreshing treat on a warm day \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9279\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1067\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> I&#8217;m using banana as a natural sweetener in this recipe. You will still be able to taste a hint of banana in the finished dessert. If this isn&#8217;t your cup of tea, I recommend to use dates instead \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9280\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Vanilla-Choc-Slices.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>For a 27\u00d717 cm tray you\u2019ll need:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>For the chocolate cream:<\/strong><br \/>\n1 1\/2 cup (200g) cashew nuts (soaked for at least 6 hours and drained)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup + 1 tablespoon (30g) FAIR TRADE cocoa powder<br \/>\n1 very ripe banana (alternatively 1\/2 cup (70g) dates, pitted)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup (45g) coconut sugar<br \/>\n1-2 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)<br \/>\n1\/2 cup (125ml) water<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the vanilla cream:<\/strong><br \/>\n1\/2 cup (70g) cashew nuts (soaked for at least 6 hours and drained)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup (63ml) water<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla paste<\/p>\n<p>I used cacao nibs for garnish.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1. Blend the ingredients for the chocolate cream in a high speed blender until smooth. Line the baking tray with baking paper.<\/p>\n<p>2. Pour the mixture into the baking tray and spread evenly.<\/p>\n<p>3. For the vanilla cream blend all ingredients until smooth. Place dollops on top of the chocolate cream and use a fork or teaspoon to make some swirls. Sprinkle with garnish of your choice.<\/p>\n<p>4. Place in the freezer until set (probably 4-5 hours) and store then in the fridge.
