Loaded with Omega 3 and sweetened only with fruit, they make for a very special, healthier treat.<!--more--><br \/>\nWhat if you make vegan <strong>ice cream instead<\/strong> of ice pops? I wondered. And of course, I just had to give it a try. Now I couldn&#8217;t use my ice cream maker on such short notice and decided to try a <strong>no churn version<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Dairy-free-Nut-free-Fruit-Sweetened-Chocolate-Hemp-Ice-Cream-Recipe-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7616\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Dairy-free-Nut-free-Fruit-Sweetened-Chocolate-Hemp-Ice-Cream-Recipe-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1067\" title=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nAnd yes! <strong>It worked out just fine!<\/strong> Of course it has a little more crunchy texture. So if you are a fan of creamy ice creams, better use that ice cream maker. It is creamy, not too rich and once again proves, that dairy is not needed for an icy treat. All <strong>vegan, gluten-free, nut-free<\/strong> (if you skip the pistachios) and <strong>fruit-sweetened<\/strong>, it ticks many boxes while still tasting delicious!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Dairy-free-Nut-free-Fruit-Sweetened-Chocolate-Hemp-Ice-Cream-Recipe-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7618\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Vegan-Gluten-free-Dairy-free-Nut-free-Fruit-Sweetened-Chocolate-Hemp-Ice-Cream-Recipe-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1066\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Makes approx. 1 liter:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>For the ice cream:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 140g hemp seeds<br \/>\n\u2022 140g dates, pitted and diced<br \/>\n\u2022 450ml water<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tablespoons FAIR-TRADE cocoa powder<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/4 teaspoon ground vanilla<br \/>\n\u2022 1 pinch salt (optional)<br \/>\n<strong>For the chocolate drizzle:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter (or nut butter if you are OK with nuts)<br \/>\n\u2022 1 to 2 teaspoon FAIR-TRADE cocoa powder<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tablespoon ground coconut sugar<br \/>\n\u2022 1 to 2 tablespoon water (depending on the desired consistency)<\/p>\n<h3>Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p>1. Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender until smooth<br \/>\n2. Pour the mixture into a freezer safe container and place in freezer until solid.<br \/>\n3.
