Especially since I visited<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/loganmacleancafe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Logan MacLean<\/a> in Waip\u016b and ate their amazing Beyond Burger. Tanya, the owner of the cafe, is vegan herself and has a huge vegan menu to offer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Bratlinge-Rezept-Vegan-Glutenfrei.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9677\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Bratlinge-Rezept-Vegan-Glutenfrei.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1066\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, with burgers in my mind, I decided to try a new recipes. It worked out so well that I have to share the recipe with you\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f642.svg\" alt=\"?\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>The main ingredients are sunflower seeds and mushrooms. With a hearty mix of spices it creates a flavoursome burger patty that also has quite a firm texture. That also makes it suitable for the bbq.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Vegane-Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Burger-Rezept.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9678\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Vegane-Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Burger-Rezept.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1066\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The recipe is vegan, gluten-free and doesn\u2019t require oil. For the burger buns I used my recipe for<a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/en\/brotchen-ohne-hefe-vegan-glutenfrei\/\">\u00a0bread rolls without yeast<\/a>. Instead of dusting them with flour, I brushed them with plant milk. A perfect combo\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/13.0.1\/svg\/1f642.svg\" alt=\"?\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Vegane-Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Bratlinge-Rezept-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9679\" src=\"https:\/\/theveganmonster.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Vegane-Sonnenblumen-Pilz-Bratlinge-Rezept-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1066\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Makes approx. 6 to 8 mushroom burgers:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 100g sunflower seeds (soak in water for approx. 4 hours, then rinse and drain)<br \/>\n\u2022 200g mushrooms, finely chopped<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/3 tsp salt<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp ground coriander<br \/>\n\u2022 1\/2 tsp onion powder<br \/>\n\u2022 1-2 pinches ground chili<br \/>\n\u2022 1 tbsp soy sauce<br \/>\n\u2022 50g chickpea flour<br \/>\n\u2022 50g rice flour (or other gluten-free flour)<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp psyllium fiber husk<\/p>\n<h3>Method mushroom burgers:<\/h3>\n<p>1. After rinsing the sunflower seeds, let them drain thoroughly in a sieve.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the meantime mix the chopped mushrooms with salt in a bowl. Let soak until the mushrooms have shrunk noticeably and have become watery (approx. 30 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>3. Now ad the sunflower seeds to the mushroom and blend them roughly with a stick blender. Add the spices and mix roughly.<\/p>\n<p>4. Add the remaining ingredients, stir to combine and let rest for a few more minutes.<\/p>\n<p>5. Form burger patties with wet hands and cook them either from both sides in a frying pan on low heat. Or bake them in the oven at 190\u00b0C for approx. 25 minutes (flip them in<br \/>\nbetween).<\/p>\n<p>Please let me know what you think about this recipe,<strong>\u00a0I\u2019d love to hear from you<\/strong>!
