Hi Chelsea,
First of all apologies for my late reply. Due to personal and health-related reasons I had to take a long break from my blog.
While my reply comes way too late I’ll still leave it here in case it can still help you or others.
Absolutely, you can make this cake ahead. It has to be frozen in order to set. It might need a little extra defrosting if it has been in the freezer for longer than 6 hours. I recommend thawing it slowly in the fridge for the best texture.
