Who is going nuts for frozen nutty treats? I surely am! And I’m totally loving those walnuts lately. And it’s so hard to say no when an idea pops up that combines walnuts, chocolate and vegan ice pops! Yum!
With winter, the root vegetables are making constant visits to my pantry. Be it carrot, parsnip or beetroot – I love them all. Especially the beetroot has taking my taste buds by storm again and I keep finding myself creating new dishes that contain this beautiful, delicious root.
Chocolate and nuts, they just make for such a beautiful flavour combination! You can find a few recipes on my blog, that play with this combination. I haven’t tried too many recipes with walnuts yet. Though they are such a delicious nut with a good portion of Omega 3s.

Oooooh, I’m working through my little walnut stash! Have you tried that walnut ice-cream yet? With only 3 ingredients? Well, if you are not looking for ice-cream but for something more along the lines of a cake then this recipe might be it.
When I was in Germany last year, I felt like I was in paradise. It has become soooo vegan friendly, it is such a difference to 10 years ago. I just love it!
There are so many recipes for (vegan and gluten-free) energy balls out there. But I still have to share my favourite recipe with you!
