In Germany, I lived in the area around Frankfurt am Main for a while. Shortly after I had moved there, people told me about one of their regional food specialties: green sauce. I thought that it sounded pretty odd and couldn’t imagine how it could taste.
Mains
Hearty main dishes that are all vegan and gluten-free. Pizza, pasta, soups and stews and many other recipes.
Mini Focaccia (Vegan, Gluten-free)
I’m still trying to find a way to make my own gluten-free vegan burger buns. One of my last tries resulted in flat shaped breads, that looked more
Cauliflower Potato Casserole (Vegan, Gluten-free)
I don’t know about you, but in my garden it is cauliflower season! Cauliflower is soooo underrated!
Potato Cucumber Salad (Vegan, Gluten-free)
I am really good at cooking too many potatoes. But that doesn’t really worry me. You can transform them into a naughty fry-up. Or, the more healthy option, you can make a salad with them! 🙂

TVP & Kidney-Bean Burger Patties
I really learnt to love burgers in New Zealand. Pretty much any cafe has a vegan variation on offer (and if it is not on the card they whiz one up for you). Super Easy Asparagus Hollandaise Sauce (Vegan, Gluten-free, Oil-free)
With spring rolling in, the first asparagus are for sale in the shops. Yay! In Europe I was used to having white Asparagus only. Here in New Zealand you can only get the green version of it. It’s just as delicious though 🙂
Creamy Broccoli Sauce (Vegan, Gluten-free)
This winter broccoli and other brassica are very affordable in New Zealand. I keep buying them and try to come up with new ways of integrating them into my diet.
